Finding a therapist can be a challenging, albeit, daunting task. Rightness-of-fit is a key component to successful therapy
The most fundamental function of therapy is to create a safe, supportive environment for the client's experiences. To be validated in your very personal experiences helps create and foster a rich therapeutic relationship in which healing can begin. It is my passion and goal to help my clients gain a better understanding of themselves so that they may heal and learn how to effectively cope with life's struggles.
I have had the privilege of working with clients suffering from a wide range of issues through traditional approaches such as CBT, however, I have found that my most effective approaches have been EMDR and Ego State work. Both of which target negative cognitions/belief systems and faulty thinking connected to past experiences.
I have over 15 years of experience in treating a broad range of client populations. During my tenure as a therapist I have worked with clients with severe psychoses, drug and alcohol addiction, LGBTQIA+, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, infertility, OCD, and many more.
I tailor my approach to the client; meeting them where they are at and carefully and intuitively helping guide them through their very personal struggles.
